Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series Presented by 101.9 KINK

The El Kays will be performing at Noon Tunes over the lunch hour!

The El Kays are a transatlantic folk-pop duo based out of Portland, Oregon comprised of Thom Lyons from London, England and Rose Kohn from Washington D.C. They formed in the midst of the pandemic out of a mutual need to find a new creative outlet after a year of lockdown, and play a harmony-laden mix of Americana, folk and indie-pop. They are currently working on their debut release. As a solo artist, Thom has released several E.P.’s, performed across the US and UK, and has shared the stage and the studio with Rachael Yamagata, Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket), Anna Tivel, and Jenny Conlee (The Decemberists).

The Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series returns for its 31^st year on Tuesdays throughout June and July! From noon-1:00pm enjoy music from some of Portland’s best regional and local musical talent. With seven FREE concerts, dancing, and some of Portland’s favorite food vendors at Carts on the Square, Portland’s Living Room is sure to be Downtown’s summer lunchtime destination.
