In partnership with Portland founded Walker Macy, Pioneer Courthouse Square is preparing for the return of the 35th Annual Festival of Flowers. This year’s design, Galaxy Glow Garden, will offer a garden, and grounds, that reflect and offer exploration, fun and reflection on our tiny place within the universe. Made of nearly 18,000 live flowers, grasses and herbs, this unique installation will create a one-of-a-kind art display in our City’s Living Room for community members to enjoy from May 20th to June 2nd.
In addition to the floral display, community members can enjoy lunch time entertainment as well as special evening events throughout the duration of the festival. As is tradition, upon completion of the Festival of Flowers installation at the Square, all locally-grown plant material used in the design will be offered for sale to the public below standard retail pricing from June 3rd – June 5th.
