Pioneer Courthouse Square played host to four cultural festivals throughout the month of August! From food, performances, music, and traditional vendors, community members were able to experience a diverse array of cultures and backgrounds in the heart of downtown Portland. The Chinese Festival, Pan African Festival, India Festival, and the Portland Persian Party all hosted their events in Portland’s living room during the month of August. Each event brought a sampling of their culture with delicious food, live music, and cultural performances directly into the heart of downtown. Thousands of Portlanders traveled to the Square to experience and share in the rich culture each festival brought to downtown. These festivals are indicative and reflective of the existing and growing diversity of Portland and Pioneer Courthouse Square is proud to work alongside these organizations to bring their events to life!
